- Express Messenger Systems, Inc., our parent company, is in the transportation delivery business and currently focuses on three distinct niches within the industry: overnight delivery, same-day delivery, and international mail. The Company participates in these market segments through three separately operated business divisions controlled through a single corporate structure:
- Express Messenger International (EMI) in the international mail
and express delivery market,
- California Overnight in the express delivery segment, and
- Express Messenger Systems in the same-day messenger
and distribution segment.

Express Messenger International (EMI), one of three divisions under Express Messenger Systems, Inc., began operations in 1996 to operate primarily in the international mail market. EMI contracts to pick up bulk mail by messenger, transport it out of the country and inject the mail into various foreign postal systems, or arrange for hand delivery. This service provides both a faster and more cost effective alternative for international bulk mail shippers.
EMI routinely provides services to the 48 contiguous states.

began operations in 1991 and operates regionally in California, Nevada, and Arizona as an overnight delivery business. California Overnight's primary focus is on the business-to-business segment of the express delivery market where regional delivery efficiency can be maximized.
Express
Messenger
The Express Messenger Systems Division is our original business and competes in the same-day express and distribution delivery markets. Both scheduled and on-demand priority services are offered within a specified metropolitan area. EMS is one of the nation's largest providers of specially designed courier bank routes.
